Russian Main Battle Tank T-72B3
The Russian T-72B3 main battle tank is the latest variant of the T-72. It’s most important improvement is the installation of the Sosna-U multi-channel sight. The gunner can obtain clear sighting images in any environment. The tank is equipped with a 2A46M5 gun which can fire more powerful new armor piercing shells. The tank’s protection is enhanced by the Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armor on the turret and the spall liner inside the fighting compartment.
